Karen and Fred Lemister, Cooperstown, received a particularly special Christmas present: a granddaughter, Makenna Grace, born at 7:54 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 23, to Kim (Lemister) and Clay Knapp of Oviedo, Fla.
She weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 20 inches long.
Her mom is a 1991 graduate of Cooperstown Central School.
This is the Lemisters’ third grandchild. Son Andy and his wife, Christine, of Jacksonville, Fla., have 3-year-old twins, A.J. and Addison.
